The new facilities of the CINNO (ALEASTUR Innovation Center) respond to the growth of the business group, the search for efficiency and the ambition to expand the culture of innovation throughout the company; reinforcing its ability to spread improvement and efficiency actions in all areas of the group, as well as promoting new business growth opportunities and potential new businesses.
The current R&D work will soon be boosted thanks to the new center and the increase in its workforce, focusing its activity on smart industry, energy and circularity, and advanced manufacturing.
Throughout this 2023, CINNO hopes to strengthen its human team by incorporating new researchers to its current staff -in collaboration with the University of Oviedo- to not only continue with existing research projects but also to face, with all means, the new ones. recently launched challenges. The inauguration of the new center is expected to take place in the summer of 2023, once the comprehensive reform works of the CINNO building and facilities have been completed.
