Marta Suárez shared her experience with more than 600 students in Avilés.
The Niemeyer Center in Avilés hosted the eighth edition of the Science and Technology in Feminine program, organized by the Avilés Isla de la Innovación Science and Technology Park under the framework of the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE).
Our colleague Marta Suárez, R&D Manager at ALEASTUR Innovation Center, participated alongside Laura García (TheRoom2030) and Celia Núñez (ArcelorMittal), sharing their academic and professional journeys with more than 600 students. The event was moderated by Elena Mielgo, researcher at the Steel Technology Center, and presented by the Mayor of Avilés, Mariví Monteserín.
The initiative aims to bring female role models in science and technology closer to young people, foster vocations in STEM fields, and contribute to reducing the gender gap, in line with SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
At ALEASTUR GROUP, we thank Ana Isabel Cadrecha from the Avilés City Council for the organization and invitation, and we highlight the excellent experience of sharing the stage with professionals of remarkable careers.
